In-Country RPO Management of Recruitment Program

The Parabellum recruitment team were engaged by a German headquartered Offshore Engineering company to search for a suitably qualified and equipped Engineering and Management team for a project in one of the most challenging of North African countries.

In order to successfully execute this project, a blend of substantial LNG background, comprehensive Engineering discipline expertise, robust personal attributes, persuasive abilities and a work ethic second to none were required.

Our marketing campaign used traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods, Industry specific publications, Parabellum’s extensive networking resources and visits to traditional O&G Hubs to conduct face to face interviews.

Parabellum Resources designed the competency-based interview structure to ensure consistency and to give visibility to our Client throughout the resourcing process.

Raising awareness of our Clients activity and brand in the region was key to our success in installing the Owners Contractor Team.

‘Team’ was the critical focus with this assignment. Their workload was significant and in a high pressure and demanding environment. They were required to oversee all Sub-contractors and their various packages of work. The contract was a mixture of reimbursable as well as lumpsum and required attentive execution to avoid potential costs to be incurred unnecessarily.

Not only did they perform beyond the Clients expectations, the team were successful in securing additional works on the project due to efficiencies and diligent contract management.
